How to manually check for Windows updates

Follow these instructions to manually check for Windows updates

1. Open you Start Menu
2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
   
3. Open Update & Security
   
   
4. Tap on Check for Updates
   
5. After available updates are done being installed, you may be prompted to restart your computer. If you have time, proceed with restarting.
